once I've uploaded pictures, there are some that I want to publish and some not. instead of removing them from an album, I would prefer them to stay on the server...is it possible to add a little button or something that would allow to publish/unpublish pictures?

I believe this would require a flash core change, and we don't have it :| You'll need to ask on www.slooz.com.
