TOPIC: No Resize

No Resize 4 years ago #7340

I want to use your gellery BUT i want to use it to presnt small pics. And your gallery resize. But the pics resolution is not high enough for this. So i suggest that u can choose if expose shall resize them or not. (im sorry for my bad english^^)

You need to set the size of the pictures in the options of the manager. To preserve a good quality, it should be set conform the expose window size. See the documentation for an example.
You can disable the resizing by changing the code in the upload.php file, or overwriting the uploaded pictures by your own resized ones.
Trial and error, but first a backup!

Problem is that Expose uses 3 sizes of every picture (to improve speed): The scrolling size, the slideshow size, and optional a popup size that visitors enables to download. We'll need to investigate how it could be done.
Normally, if all sizes are matched towards the gallery size, then the included resizing should be ok...

I'm thinking about shrinking pics, but what you mean is that Expose shouldn't enlarge small pics, right? This could be fixed...
