it would be great to have the posibility to download the image without the need of creating a bigger one (popup), this feature demands unnecesary space... and there are servers that cant have 2 copies of all photos....
is there a possibility to have the medium size image also as a popup?

No.
Expose creates all these sizes to improve download speed. But if you manipulate the XML files yourselves, you can link the popup and slideshow picture to the same file. See manual developer section on xml structure overview.

Hi, there !

Allow me to exhume such an old topic cause I'm facing the same problem : I'd really like the users of my website to downoad pictures from my gallery.

Alas, there is no download button with Expose gallery and, even if I found some topics about this issue, no one ever gave a satisfying answer.

So here I am, brand new in this forum and trying to get an help from someone experimented :

1) Is there a way to add a download button ? If so, could you give me the solution to do so (not a simple hint, that could not help me as I can't code in flash or any language more developped than HTML), please ?

2) In the worst case, how to link the popup and slideshow pictures to the same files ? Which XML files should I modify ?

But I must admit such a solution would not satisfy me as I really need a download button (cause my users aren't advanced one : I'm pretty sure they would never right click on a picture to save it !).

I really need an help on this case cause I like Expose gallery and wouldn't like to use another gallery because of such a thing.
