Since you probably used FTP to transfert the files, the different ownerhips of the files can cause you a lot of trouble.

Really i have same problem too for 3weeks now.I cant login tstill o the manager. tried 4.6.2 and also 4.6.3 alpha.no changes.i could log in with expose prive but cant upload pictures.Now i'm giving up.I really like expose but got to look for another gallery component

I'm experiencing this same problem with Expose v4.6.2. The default password won't work for album manger. At first I thought it might be the Mozilla browser on my Mac OSX, but then it didn't work when I used IE on Windows XP either. Default PW [ manager ]

I found what I thought might be a solution. I navigated down to this file and changed the permissions to 755; but this didn't work either.

I am also experiencing the same problem with v4.6.3 alpha3c. Have had the component installed for a couple of months, but until now had just FTP'd a few images and had not yet used Album Manager. Tried to login to Album Manager in the backend today with default password 'manager' and nothing happens. Also tried changing password and again nothing happens. Would like to access Album Manager as, from reading the forum, this appears to be the only way to be able to dictate an order for the image scroller module.

Image scroller is still operating without a problem in the frontend except for the random order. I have tried saving image files as 1, 2, 3,...and A, B, C, etc. but the images are still displayed randomly in the scroller.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the component as was getting the following issues when running System check. After running again after reinstall, nothing changed and still had errors.

The issue has been reported numerous times, but we haven't found the cause and can there by not solve it.

I am working on another login solution.

Just thought I'd let you know I have tried using Firefox 3.5.3, IE7 and Google Chrome and the same is happening in all - enter the default password 'manager' hit the Log In button and nothing happens.
