This could be a situation where I'm trying to do waaaay too much with the wimpy module as supplied, but here's what I'm trying to do:

I'm putting together a "local music" portal, and I'm using Community Builder 1.0RC2.

I want to have the wimpy load a default playlist on the main page. Now, on each band's profile page, I'd like to have a link in a "playlist" tab, that, when clicked, would pass the url for an XML playlist to the player, which would then parse and load only that band's songs.

Does this sound workable?

Wimpy already uses a XML config file. So if you set it correctly in the WImpy config file it will load files accordingly. As for the playlist try making a custom wimpy skin and adding an extra spot for a link. Then use an image map to create your hot links. Does this make any sense?

I have written them several times about coming up with something like that...

I hope you get it going, and think it would raise the stock for wimpy...
