Everything was working fine. Was changing different settings trying to tweak everything. Now it doesn't show up on front page. I was going one tweak at a time and refreshing, but I must have done 2 and can't figure it out.
Is there a list of factory settings anywhere, where I can just go back and put back the factory numbers. I can't see this list anywhere. If I put back to the factory settings I can start all over. I have about 50 pictures and categories and subs. Don't want to reset. Thanks all....

Download the component and open the package, you will find the settings in the expose\xml folder.

Little background. My computer guy did the intial install of Joomla and of the expose 4 component. I'm building the site myself, it's going to be very, very extensive with lots of pictures and menu's. When I'm done it will be a very expensive site, so I'm learning this myself with his guidance. I may need a little more instruction than your average forum person.
I downloaded the component and found the expose\xml folder. Do I need to replace this with my folder?
What i think i did.
Under the configuartion screen.
There is general, navigation bar, collection list, image strip album, fonts, image convertion. I was writing each setting down and changing one at a time and refreshing. I'm not sure why its not showing on the front page, but thats the only things I were chainging at the time.
I need the #'s / Yes / No for the 6 different menus. I think If I put them back to factory settings then it will show on my main screen.

Well you can download the component zip file and extract the settings xml file and overwrite the existing one in the Joomla root folder (Joomla Root\components\com_expose\expose\xml\).

Or if you wanna manually enter them, download the component zip file, extract the settings xml file. Open it in Notepad or another text editor and read the values in a "raw" format.


I'm not sure, but it can be the problem. One of your category titles contains spaces " Header Parts Pictures by Manufacturer / Machine Size " and the same with some of the image titles in the "Punch Blocks" album. Try to remove them and see if it renders as it should.
