Joomla 1.5

Joomla SEO Settings
Search Engine Friendly URLs: YES and Expose will not load
NO and Expose will load

I just thought I'd share.. It kept me awake for two nights trying to figure it out. Sometimes is better to post solutions.

I found a recommendation her in the forum to use sh404SEF and a plugin from the download area to solve this problem. So i bought sh404SEF (35 $) only for this but it doesn't work. Neither with sh404SEF nor with the standard SEo of joomla.

I am using the native Joomla SEF on here. try this.

- Install Expose 4.6.3 with SEF URLs turned off
- Create a Menu Item for Expose, name it Expose (nothing special, just a regular menu item)
- Turn on SEF URL Support
- You should now have a URL somewhat like www.<your_site>.com/JOOMLA/expose.html

that should load Expose. Make sure that you also have the latest version of Expose installed. We have a new package that should coming out to soon to fix this. Its still in the debugging phase though.

I have been facing the same dificulties that jdevera reported. I followed all the procedures as suggested by the admin. But when the SEF URLs is turned on I can´t see my image albuns. What should I do?

Run with out SEF enabled or use a SEF component that allows you to create special rules for Expose.
